- We are working on writing & formatting friendly letters. Our class is participating in the "Great American Mail Race" with other seventh grade classes across the United States.
- Test on vocabulary lessons 15-16 will be Friday, February 3.
- The last day for A.R. tests for the third nine week grading period is March 8.

Honor Society members are chosen based on academic record and written recommendations from former and current teachers. Honor Society members must maintain an overall average of 87 or above in their four core classes, avoid discipline problems, and must participate in service projects throughout the year.

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE AND PASS TWO A.R. TESTS EACH NINE WEEKS. THIS IS 15% OF THEIR ENGLISH GRADE.
STUDENTS WHO MAKE 65 OR BELOW ON ANY TEST MAY HAVE THE TEST SIGNED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN & RETURN IT TO ME WITHIN 2 DAYS FOR AN EXTRA 5 POINTS ADDED TO THAT TEST GRADE.
Students must complete their grammar warm ups every day in order to pass the open notebook Warm Up tests. Warm ups should be kept in a binder, in numerical order.
